Small changes can lead to big health improvements! You might have heard me say that before, but it’s true! It may take a bit of time to find the healthier alternative to your favourite food or product, but it’s worth it.  I came across this fabulous Canadian company called Little Life Box that can help you to make this happen.

Subscribe to Little Life Box and they will send you a monthly box with samples of healthy products to sample so you can determine what products are right for you. I think it’s a brilliant idea and I hope you spread the word

    I drink water+lemon every morning before breakfast. It is sooo good, it cleans the liver and wakes up your body. Soo much better than coffee!:)

    One small healthy change we have made is cutting out juice and pop at home. My kids can choose between water or milk at mealtimes and juice is reserved as a treat.

    I start my day with a good smoothie with a lot off fruts, it´s so good and I have a lot off energy for the rest off the day :)

    My son and I started drinking Kangen water last year when out tap water became poisoned with chlorine. This year we started our gluten free switch, cutting out foods with red food colouring, and reducing refined sugar. My son has ADHD and we don’t use pharmaceutical drugs so I’m doing what I can as a single parent to help heal him naturally. I love the idea of a healthy subscription box! Healthy food is so expensive but a box worth would sure help :)

    I started only eating when I’m sitting at the table with no distractions. This really cut down on my mindless snacking and sugar intake!

    We have started to juice so much more. One day a week (at least) will do an entire juice day and both my husband and I feel so energized. This also really helps clean out the fridge ;)

    A few years ago I stopped drinking soda and juice and pretty much anything that wasn’t water. I felt better right away and after a few months I noticed I was 5 pounds lighter although I wasn’t specifically trying to lose weight. I still drink mostly water and I wouldn’t go back.

    My daughter was diagnosed with wheat & dairy intolerance and so I decided to support her and go off those foods as well. Since then she stopped being so congested and her skin moistened up. But for me my irritable bowel went away and I lost weight and I just felt better. Since then I have cut out all gluten, started green smoothies and continue to tweak our diets. I am an older mom and want to be here for my daughter as long as I can and healthy. Thank you

    I do not buy any juice anymore but rather drink a variety of cold tea instead! It’s as delicious, without the calories!

    I recently became a mom and in the beginning I found it extremely hard to stay away from junk that was quick and easy to make, I also didn’t think much of portion control because I had a “more is better” mentality while breastfeeding . I have cut out all refined sugar, carbonated drinks, fried foods and unnecessary eating from my diet. I have learned to love eating clean. I would love to win so that I can show my partner there are healthier alternatives that he may also like!

    I have recently incorporated green smoothies as part of my breakfast routine. The smoothies give me energy and are good as well as healthy.

    I switched to maple syrup, cane sugar and coconut sugar in our home for all baking needs. There is no more white sugar or white flour in our home. Buckwheat Flour, Brown Rice Flour, Garbanzo Flour. All have been proven great alternatives. My family and I have all reaped the benefits: less stomach issues, nearly no headaches anymore, more energy, better skin and hair – it’s quite amazing really.

    I have made quote a few changes and they have resulted in a healthier happier more energetic me :)

    We no longer bake with anything white, I make a Huge smoothie each morning bursting with fruits and veggies and it helps start the day off right

    I have made a few healthy changes that have given me more energy. I drink at least 8 tall glasses of water each day, cut out soda completely, include protein in each meal, and eat less sweets at night (I have a major sweet tooth so this one has been hard!)

    Drinking a glass of water with each meal instead of juice or other beverages and choosing to have a bowl of soup as a snack after work vs grabbing something sugary or salty.
